I have this wonderful friend who blogs like crazy! And a little while ago she had a thing on her blog where you answer 5 questions about yourself. Well she invited people to email her and she would send you 5 questions to answers. So below are my 5 questions. And also check out her blog: www.dandeliondayz.com She does an amazing job of sharing her life by being real and fun.

Okay here we go:

1. What life lesson do you wish would have been an easier experience?
Oh where do I start. Let's go with college. Now I am not the partying type of girl nor did I drink or smoke or do bad things. My first drink was on my honeymoon so if you think this story is about choices in college when it comes to drinking, try again. But it is about education. I had a rough time of it in college. I wasn't the smartest kid but I wasn't stupid. So when it came to wanting to study or hang out with friends. I chose hang out with friends. I valued the experience of relationships so much more than the education in school. I got a wonderful degree in elementary education from a great school. But the things that I remember about school are the people and experiences. And when I think about the work and the studying and the tests I start to get a strange twitch b/c it reminds me of all the stress. Oh so many more stories to tell for this questions but I just wish college would have been a bit easier for me.

2. If money was no obstacle what is the one thing you would do this year?
The first thing that popped into my head was to add a screened-in porch to our house with an outdoor patio and outdoor kitchen. I love being outside in the night air here in the south but the bugs are rather annoying. And we would grill every meal if we could.

3. What is your favorite thing about your spouse or best friend if you don't have a spouse?
I love that where I lack he is strong. I never knew that you married your opposite and in so many ways we are the same. We love to talk and hang out with friends but I stink at goal setting and finances and so many things. He really is a wonderful man that loves and cares for me. He is a great provider and dreamer. And I respect him as a father and husband but more so as a man who desires to live according to the Word of God.

4. What is your favorite thing about yourself?
Hmmm..... I hate answering questions about myself. My favorite thing is that I can be crafty if I want to be. I have to be in the right frame of mind but I love to craft things. If I just had more time to myself to get things done we might have curtains or finished scrapbooks.

5. Why do you blog and how long do you think you will keep it up?
I blog b/c it is a way for me to keep my family up north informed of how we are doing down here in the south. For me to write down my thoughts and share my feelings about certain aspects of my life. Brag on my kids and/or hubby. And I will keep it up as long as technology doesn't get to advanced that I don't understand things or when it starts costing money.

There you go. Now here is a question for my blogging buddies out there. I can't get my color behind my fonts to change colors. It is still stuck on red from my Christmas background. And well red just doesn't work with the brown, blue, green, cream background I have up. Let me know if you have any tips to help me out.

As far as the page background color the only thing I know to do is go to

Customize, then Settings, then Fonts and Colors. Then click on Page Background Color and change the color.

If it does not change try a new background from that site or shoot Blogger an email for help.
